Thor's Bad Day

T he Lightning motor cut out, "Ah Hell" shouted Thor. The cloud (with 'Go Faster Stripes') turned an unspeedy shade of white then the Sun came out.

About half a minute later, WHOOSH............ A silver sliver obviously with the afterburner full on went roaring by. It had a number ten painted on it.

"Ah Hell" shouted Thor as he tried to thunder his cloud back into service.

"Ah Hell" shouted Thor as The Boat Man of The Styx floated by at three times the speed of sound. That one didn't have a number on it though Thor, suddenly very worried about his health.

The old airship had seen many dimensional wars and was, therefore, a bit tatty. Its captain was confident though because his craft carried the lucky number seven, plus eight solar lances for added certainty of winning. The captain remained smug, grinning manically at a Thunder God stranded, as the airship drifted past him. The captain was also certain he had heard the Thunder God shout "Ah Hell".

Thor's hammer was powerful in itself, a magical artifact more than a mere hammer. Thor handled it well, for a God that is. Thor was not renowned for holding his temper and his cloud wouldn't work. And so the first Angle that flew by got it in the forehead.

Thor saw on the horizon a large shape appear, steadily growing bigger until it blanked out the sky above him. It looked like a huge green dented golfball. It had the number two detailed on its surface. Thor judged that alone to be several hundred miles across.

It seemed to Thor that every one was using this planet as a sling shot. It wasn't fair because it happened to be a planet upon which he was a God.

The huge craft passed on and disappeared over the other horizon. Thor shouted "Ah Hell" at it once he thought it safely out of range.

The cloud began to sink. "Ah Hell" shouted Thor at the top of his huge lungs.

A small red WWI triplane numbered six flew by. A strange guy swinging on a vine and dressed in leopard skins swooped by yelling "Ah-Ah-Ahhh".

Thor began to cry. The rains across the world poured. The cloud still sank down towards the planet's surface. "Ah Hell" sobbed Thor.

The jungle was getting dark.

Six US marines in a jeep stopped next to a strange grounded cloud. They quickly dived behind their jeep for cover. "Damn Gooks!"

The M16s opened up on Thor as he stood to see whats going on. "Ah Hell" said Thor as he swung his hammer to deflect the shots with God like precision.

The shocked marines ceased fire and watched Thor steal their jeep.

Once again today Thor smiled, "Ah Yes".
